On May 20, 2021, I held my first meetup at meetup.com. It was a meetup for those who want to become a ScrumMaster, but don’t know where to start. My task was to explain and show how and where to move, and most importantly, that there is nothing that is impossible. At this meeting I told the story about my learning path, shared my experience and gave advice. We also discussed how interviews work, how to prepare for them. It was an amazing event. So many people joined this Meetup to listen to me and to ask questions.
There were a lot of questions. We discussed a lot of useful tips. It turned out that this topic is very popular nowadays. Unfortunately, there was not enough time to have all activities I planned to do. The Meetup lasted for one hour and after it there was so-called “after-party” where I answered the questions for almost two hours more. I really hope that this was not the last event and we’ll have another opportunity to meet and communicate.
I would like to thank Pavel Dabrytski who suggested this idea and then helped me get ready. As a result the meetup went well, it was active and raced by. I enjoyed it so much. I am very glad that Pavel gave me this opportunity, supported me, that I managed to do it with success and got my first experience. I am sure that this meeting inspired all the participants.
And of course, many thanks to the meetup Group – the Voice of Scrum Alliance, Alexander Frumkin, Elena Aminova and Dana Pylayeva.
If you have any topic to discuss or have questions I’ll be glad to talk to you. Please contact me via Telegram or LinkedIn.
