The third point of my plan for the first quarter of 2022 has been completed. I passed the test and received PSM2 certificate.
I was going to hand it in in December 2021. But as usual, December turned out to be very busy at work. So I decided to do it at the beginning of 2022.
Perhaps you might be interested in how I prepared. Scrum.org has a list of things to read. And not just a list, but many different articles, notes.
Step by step, I learned as much as I could find. I read what those who once passed this test write, read their advice. Also, my colleagues-friends and I got together and discussed what topics could be touched upon and some cases from work, we shared our experience.
And of course, I read the Scrum Guide more than once. My advice to you is to read it from time to time. It helps a lot to not lose focus and move in the right direction.
I was lucky that I paid for my test attempt in December 2021. I was very worried that if I didn’t pass successfully now, then how could I pay for the next attempt. So I was very stressed. When I passed the test and saw my result, I felt very strong moral fatigue. And the joy of successfully passing the test came a little bit late.
And here is my certificate:
I really hope that it will not be my last international certificate.
If you have your own story of passing this test, I would be very glad to know. Please share it with me.
