I have been conducting Scrum training for team members at Alfa-Academy for one year. This training lasts 3 days for 3 hours a day.
This is a basic course during which the participants get acquainted with what Agile is, how it differs from other approaches, get acquainted with a framework Cynefin. On the second day of the training, the participants learn Scrum framework in more detail: roles and responsibilitis in Scrum team, its events and artifacts.
During the first two days, theory is mixed with practical exercises and games. And the third day is already completely devoted to the simulation game, during which the participants are divided into several teams and live for three sprints. Thus, they manage to feel the rhythm of the framework, dive deep into the atmosphere in which Scrum team lives and understand the importance of each event in Scrum.
I really enjoy doing this training. I am happy to share my knowledge. At the end of the third day, most of the participants begin to understand the essence of the framework and then go back to their teams with an awareness of how they should build the processes further.
Many participants notice that their way of thinking, their mindset is changing. Isn’t it a great result of the work of the Scrum Master?
If you also conduct similar trainings, I will be glad to talk with you and exchange experiences.
