On March 20 and 22 I attended the annual AgileDays 2024 conference, which gathered leading experts in the field of Agile to discuss the latest trends, innovations and best practices in project management and software development. Speakers shared their knowledge and experience on topics such as agile development, Scrum, Kanban, Lean, product management and how these approaches can be adapted and applied in various industries and teams to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.

The discussions covered changes in work processes, as well as the importance of creating and maintaining a culture of engagement and continuous learning in teams. Additionally, participants had the opportunity to take part in workshops. Unfortunately, I was unable to watch all the presentations I was interested in live and participate in the workshops.

Nevertheless, I managed to watch several presentations:

• by Sergey Makarkin. It was very interesting to listen to my Boss about how we live in our community of Scrum Masters at the bank. I am proud to be a part of Sergey’s team.
• by Mirko Kleiner, Agile Coach, Trainer & Interim Manager Creator. We got insights about how common scaling frameworks are scaling agile across companies today and how the Covid-19 crisis made its top 3 limitations obvious; how scaling across companies will introduce the next stage of Business Agility – Scaling Agile Cross-Companies.
• by Valeriya Shadrina and Alexander Andreev. It was very interesting to listen to the presentation of my colleagues, who revealed the secret of transforming functional silos into a product flow that creates business value.

As a conference participant, I have been granted access to the recordings of other speakers’ presentations for some more time, which fills me with great anticipation for further diving into their content.

I express my gratitude to ScrumTrek for organizing this conference. This year the technical aspect of the online platform was at a high level: ease of use, ease of access and the absence of technical glitches – all this made participation in the event an exceptionally pleasant experience.
