On April 27 and 28 I participated in the “Agility in HR (ICP-AHR)” training at AgileLab, where I was not only as a participant but also as a co-facilitator alongside trainer Irina Arkhipova. This experience allowed me to not only enrich my knowledge but also gain practical experience in facilitating a certification training. I am immensely grateful to Irina and Vladimir Gorshunov for this opportunity.
The training lasted two days, during which theoretical blocks were successfully complemented by practical exercises.
My desire to undergo this training was driven by my professional activity: I am a certified Scrum Master and Agile Coach. In my work I actively interact with teams and businesses, influencing culture and processes. Mastery of diverse tools and openness to experimentation are crucial for successful development in the fields of product, digital and transformational changes. Particularly relevant are the tools from Management 3.0 and PeopleOPS, which can be beneficial not only for Scrum Masters but also for HR professionals.
Here are the key topics we explored during the training:
- Assessing the current organizational structure and developing a new one that ensures business agility and value flow, maximizes interaction and collaboration within and between teams.
- Organizational action plan for role modeling agile thinking and developing new skills that enable the creation of cross-functional teams.
- Career mosaic based on values.
- Ways to support continuous learning.
- Methods to activate and support a learning mindset in the team.
- Recruitment strategy to attract the “right” people, considering values, culture, diversity, and collaboration in hiring decisions.
- Developing an onboarding and adaptation process that allows new employees to quickly and seamlessly become part of the organization.
- Methods for managing performance and Agile thinking to enhance productivity, accountability, and team growth.
- Motivation 3.0.
- Supporting Agile transformation in the organization, the impact of different contexts on the applied approach.
- The business’s need for agility and the impact of business on the function and organization of the HR department.
Some topics at the training were thoroughly covered, while others were touched upon less deeply. Nevertheless, the participants received numerous valuable materials and tools that can be effectively applied in HR work.
Upon completion of the training I received a certificate from ICAgile.
Here it is:
I plan to actively use the acquired knowledge and tools in my work with IT and business teams to facilitate their development and motivate them to achieve high results.
I would like to thank AgileLab for organizing and providing us with the opportunity to attend this training.
