Continuing moving further along my Learning Path, in February 2020 I took a SAFe Scrum Master training, then I studied various materials about SAFe. And as a result I’ve passed the exam at Scaled Agile, Inc. with success and got SAFe 5 Scrum Master certificate.
On 03-04 February I have participated in the training course “SAFe Scrum Master 5.0” by Agile Coach Sergey Rogachev at ScrumTrek. Some of the course participants shared their current problems or difficult situations and the trainer helped them showing the ways of possible solutions.
I had the opportunity to ask questions on this topic to Sergey Kononenko, Chief Technology Officer for Finance and Risks at Raiffeisenbank Russia, and Alexander Troitskiy, Scrum Master, Release Train Engineer,Java Software Developer at Deutsche Bank. They shared their experience and gave some usefull advices.
The training helps to discuss and to find solutions how to deal with synchronization problems arising from a complex structure and a large number of projects and products. I received an overview of the Scaled Agile Framework® (SAFe®), the world’s leading Business Agility approach.
We studied the following issues: how to involve business and IT in collaboration; what to do with cross-team tasks; what to do with development slowdown due to task dependencies; how to prioritize related work.
We discussed whether the dedicated roles of project manager, architect, team lead, analyst are needed or not, and if yes – what their responsibilities are.
I still have questions about how to biuld and to structure an Agile organization. Therefore, I will continue to search for materials on this topic and I will definitely go through more in-depth training.
