This spring we had an assessment of 40 Scrum Masters at my work. This event lasted more than a month and was hosted by an outside organization.
We were eassessed on many aspects and among them were the practice of facilitation, preparation of facilitation plans, training skills.
I found it very interesting and helpful. During the events where I was the facilitator or acted as a trainer, representatives of the organization that carried out the assessment closely followed the progress of the meetings and gave me feedback at the end.
Frankly speaking, I like to get feedback in the moment, because during this conversation you can find out what is going well, what is not working out very well and learn some secrets or tips on how you could do something differently. And this time I got some tips which I use now.
According to the results of this assessment, I am among the Scrum Masters who got the highest scores in facilitation and training. As a result, I am now one of the 10 Scrum Masters who are in the bank considered to be the experts in facilitation and from whom other Scrum Masters should learn experience and knowledge in these spheres.
I am very proud and happy with this result.
