On April 05-06, 2021 I completed the ICAgile Certified Agile Team Facilitator training. Facilitation is a very important skill for a Scrum Master and an Agile Coach. We must be able to conduct meetings so that each member of the team contributes to the common cause. That is why I decided to go through this course.
The training lasted two days from 10 am to 6 pm. During this time, we covered the basic functions of a facilitator in an agile team, including facilitation.
In small groups we’ve practiced facilitation tools and techniques that can be used in different situations and with different groups. We discussed and overcame the key issues that hinder the implementation of Agile, and also reviewed the cases of Agile approaches in different companies.
I would like to thank Anatoly Korotkov from ScrumTrek. These two days were full of various activities: we simulated different situations, discussed current problems.
My goal is to become an effective facilitator in the context of an effective self-organizing team.
I’d be very grateful if you share your experience of facilitation or your lifehacks. Please write it in LinkedIn or in a personal message to me in Telegram.
