I got eduScrum Certification

The second point in my plan for the first quarter 2022 was training and certification in eduScrum. You probably know what eduScrum is.

For those who don’t know or forgot: eduScrum is an adaptation of Scrum for the educational process, that is a way of organizing learning process. It can be used in schools and universities and even you can teach Scrum using eduScrum. This is a framework where responsibility for the learning process is transferred from the teacher to the students.

In this form of cooperation, students in teams perform tasks in a fixed rhythm. They plan and determine their own activities, as well as monitor progress. The teacher defines tasks, directs and gives advice.

This is exactly how the classes at the School of Scrum Masters are held in the bank where I work. We train future Scrum Masters using eduScrum. Many of the graduates made a decision and changed their profession upon graduation, and now they are Scrum Masters in our bank.

With this approach to learning, teamwork skills are formed, an understanding of common responsibility for the result ii formed.

In mid-February, I successfully completed the training and received a certificate. Here it is:

I would like to thank Ekaterina Bredikhina and Tatiana Aksenova for the training, and of course Willy Wijnands for the idea of this framework.

In the future, I plan to use this framework in teaching and training on Scrum. Tell me, please, do you have any experience of studying or teaching this framework? What is the result? What do you think about it?
