” An accident is a particular case of regularity” – Nadya Klyueva, the main character of the movie “The most charming and attractive / Самая обаятельная и привлекательная”
I always strive for self-development and constant improvement of my professional skills. That’s why I made myself a development plan for this autumn, which includes three points. Here you can find my plan – My Plans For Autumn 2023.
I am happy to announce that the first point of my plan has already been accomplished – I took a training course and received a certificate ICP-ENT issued by ICAgile! It was a very useful training for me, where I learned a lot of new and interesting things.
The training lasted for three days. Of course I am not able to tell you all the details, but I would like to highlight what topics we have covered while studying:
- shared an understanding of the entire value creation stream: from the theory and processes of integrated management to the fundamentals of lean management and thinking.
- shared understanding of business agility, spreading agility in the company, measuring business performance with agility in mind.
- considered organizational design and structure: understanding organizational structure, adaptive principles and models for organizational design, agile frameworks for scaling at the enterprise level.
- discussed organizational processes and their improvement: understanding business processes and their impact, improving agile business processes.
- met and shared experiences and tools for working with leaders: understanding and working with leadership teams, understanding the difference between executive coaching and consulting, understanding leadership development.
- talked about organizational culture and alignment: understanding organizational culture, engaging leadership in the culture conversation.
- highlighted how important it is to develop the culture of agile teams: health and sustainability of agile teams and agile processes, enabling technical excellence in team culture.
We remembered and discussed the definition of Agile Coach that Lyssa Adkins coined and described in her book over 10 years ago: how relevant it is now in our fast-changing world with many scalable frameworks emerging.
We also ran through responsibilities of Enterprise Agile Coaches and what metrics an Enterprise Agile Coach can influence, studied the Arc of Coaching, common roles in Agile career path, 3-Layer Agile Organization, Value Stream Design, Team Topologies, Kotter vs Adkar and many other themes and tools.
The training was really exciting and useful for me. I was tired, but enjoyed the communication and discussions. The participants of the training and the trainer himself shared a lot of examples from their work experience and new materials that I have to read and study.
😀How nice that this is happening in autumn, when the weather gets worse and more time is spent at home reading and studying.
Yes, the first point from my autumn plan is accomplished. I am happy and proud to be moving forward, but I am not going to stop there. I plan to continue learning and developing to improve my professional skills and be ready for new challenges, it’s crucial.
Here is my certificate, beautiful, isn’t it?😀
I like my work and try to do my best to become better at what I do. I am confident that my development plan will help me achieve my goals and become successful in my profession.
“Success is no accident. It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice and most of all, love of what you are doing or learning to do.”
